This is my interpretation of the qilin/kirin.
I just roughly followed the descriptions of such a creature.
My intention was to draw something graceful, but still express a certain strength.
Originally I thought about creating a usual unicorn, but I decided for something else, in the end.
And here it is.

it's like.. take an extremely pointy colour pencil... and then, well... draw millions of thousands of miniature-lines lol
parallel and crossed ones.. first a layer of very very light ones... then a litte bit darker.. and darker.. and so on lol
I love drawing every single hair in things like a mane, or fur.
But it's deadly, eventhough the result is quite eye-plasing in the end. ( that's the only thing that keeps me going on after 72 hours of FUR!)
